"CLRS": the standard reference on the design and analysis of algorithms. It covers sorting and order statistics, data structures, dynamic programming and greedy algorithms, amortised analysis, graph algorithms, flows and matchings, and NP-completeness, with rigorous proofs and pseudocode throughout. The fourth edition adds material on bipartite matching, online algorithms and machine learning.
